The ultimate self care, and a great way to achieve inner beauty, is practicing yoga. It's called a practice, because it's just that, a practice. Perfection is never the goal.

Yoga means union, so everything and everyone works with one another. It's a constant give and take with what your body needs. Yoga involves physical postures and breathing techniques to help you "flow" with and cleanse the mind, body and spirit.

 A "vinyasa" practice means you'll be coordinating movement with your breath. The brain, the breath, and the body will work together to hustle through a series of poses to heat up the body, then practice opening, balancing and restorative postures to cool it back down. At the end of the sequence there must be a peaceful "savansana.", or deep rest, for a quick meditation or time of gratitude. 

Yoga nidra, means "yogic sleep", or a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. Yoga nidra is proven to help relieve stress and instills a sense of inner peace, leaving you to feel relaxed, present and rejunevated.
